Pregnancy is a transformative phase in a woman's life; as you are reshaped on the outside as well as the inside. Just as the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly, the transformation can be just as brutal as beautiful. This brutiful process is what teaches us patience and perseverance throughout fertility, pregnancy, birth and well into postpartum.
Maggie will guide you through this transformation in her weekly pregnancy yoga classes. She guides and comforts you with the challenges you might face in all phases of your pregnancy; such as nausea and uncomfortability in early pregnancy, dizziness, shortness of breath and in mid pregnancy and pelvic instability in late pregnancy, (which is common but not ‘normal’) and something she will address in every class.
Maggie is an experienced Yoga Teacher with a specialty in Prenatal & Postnatal Yoga. She is certified, trained and experienced in Natural Fertility, Childbirth Education and works as a Birth Doula; with a speciality in Pelvic Health. She encourages women in her classes & couple’s in her courses to become active participants (versus passive bystanders) in their journey through conception, throughout pregnancy, birth and postpartum and well into parenthood by helping people feel educated, empowered and confident.
In class she uses Breathwork, Relaxation, Stretching as well as Strengthening to support a healthy Pregnancy and to prepare you for Birth.
Women typically join this class from 12 weeks on through birth; although all her classes are safe for all trimesters.
